Overview

Enjoy a 3-hour snorkeling adventure in Marathon Key at one of the world's most incredible reefs. Sombrero Reef is alive. It is a place where parrotfish feed on the living coral while trumpetfish try to blend in among its branches. The reef is protected, so you can expect to see large schools of grunts and snappers swimming among large groupers hiding in the crags and looking for a meal. The great barrier reefs on our planet are precious. Like underwater rainforests, they teem with wildlife and colorful corals.
You are welcome to bring food and drinks with you.

Captain Rob and Brooke were great! I loved all the sea life we saw at the reef! They were very knowledgeable about the area, history and what all the marine life was when asked. I would definitely go on this tour again! Very safe and great for any age and any experience level!

Amazing!! This was SO worth it! Rob and Patrick were personable, funny, knowledgeable, courteous, helpful and friendly. Sombrero Reef is protected so, we saw lots of beautiful marine life. If you have your own snorkeling gear, would recommend bringing it. It is provided but is very basic. Also note it meets at Captain Pip's Marina, NOT Skipjack Resort.

The 2 captains, Patrick and Nick were fantastic! Helpful and informative. They were friendly and fun to chat with. The ride was beautiful. The currents were pretty strong but everyone had plenty of time to snorkel the reef. There were lots of colorful fish. They provided coolers of sodas and beer ( for after snorkeling). It was a great adventure.
