This tour was absolutely AWESOME! Kevin picked me up on time with a bus with socially distanced seating, available masks and hand sanitizer! Kevin provided all the info needed for our day trip with water and a snack! He stopped to give us a short break and dropped us off at the ferry. Tom who picked us up at Martha’s Vineyard was INCREDIBLE as he has lived on the island for years and knew EVERYTHING about the island!!! I would give this tour 10 stars if I could....And thanks Steve for recommending the optional island tour of Martha’s Vineyard!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this Incredible 5 Star Review! Here at New England Trips we have taken numerous safety measures to try and ensure both our guests and our guides well being. We want our guests to feel confident that we are doing our best to try and keep them safe. I am so happy that you had such a wonderful day, as that is what we strive for. Both Kevin and Tom are great guides, Kevin being a Bostonian and Tom a true islander, you really get the best of both worlds with those two. Hope to see you again soon on another New England Trip! Kind Regards, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.

Firstly, I can't fault New England Tours, they were excellent. They picked us up at our hotel, they gave us water and snacks. The driver was lovely, informative and outstanding. On the way we stopped at a light house at Cape Cod. I've always wanted to go to Martha's Vineyard but we went in late October 2019 and therefore it was out of season. The bus tour on the island is not by New England Tours. I think it's by Martha's Vineyard tours. For the first stop we were there for about 30 minutes, I would have preferred longer. The town is gorgeous with all the little gingerbread houses. The second stop was a bit pointless, just with a lighthouse and that's it. The rest of the tour is just looking at houses and it does not cover the whole of the island. So you are spending 2 hours on the bus which isn't that comfortable. I would have liked to seen parts of the island where 'Jaws' was filmed, but we just quickly drove through the area with the beach and the Jaws bridge. After the tour of the island we were dropped back at the area by the port in Martha's Vineyard and basically there was nothing to do and nothing was open. We had a quick bite to eat in a cafe that was open to kill time. We ended up getting an earlier ferry back to Cape Cod and having a little walk around that area to wait for the coach back to Boston. I think the tour on the Island could be improved so much. In fact I think it would have been better if the driver on New England Tours took their bus over and did the tour and more stops on the Island were included. I'm glad I went on this trip and to Martha's vineyard, but I don't really think you should expect it to be amazing.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Our trip is quite different in the spring and fall then it is during the summer months. Martha's Vineyard is a very seasonal island, thus shops and alot of restaurants close accordingly. We do continue making the trip so that guests (like yourselves) still have the opportunity to go to the island on what may be their ony lifetime visit to Boston. As you can see if you look at past reviews, they are quite different during the summer months. (mostly all 5 stars) Sincerely, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.
