Easy pick up and drop off from our hotel. We had a very friendly and knowledgeable driver in Keith who had to put up with some silly questions from some members of our group and had the patience of a saint. We enjoyed Martha’s Vineyard but a lot of the shops were closed for the season so perhaps the tickets should be discounted to reflect this. Anthony gave a good tour of the island although it was a little difficult to hear him at some times over the engine noise. I would thoroughly recommend NETs and this tour.

Thank you for the 4 star review of our Martha's Vineyard day trip. Keith is a true professional as are all of our guides. Martha's Vineyard is a very seasonal island and most shops do close before our trip ends for the season on October 30th. We do run specials at different times throughout the year for trips booked for any dates April through October. Your recommendation is greatly appreciated. Kind Regards, Stephen M. The trip to Martha's Vineyard was well worth it, we had a fantastic day, our driver Keith was efficient and got us to Falmouth from Boston and return in good time. We travelled in the fall and the sights were amazing with all the beautiful changing colours. The Vineyard is more than beautiful with plenty to see and do on a day trip - Tom our tour guide was fantastic, very entertaining and although most of his stories were highly embellished they were great listening. I would recommend doing the 3hr bus tour once you get on the island as you get to see so much. I do however have one serious complaint that spoilt the end of the trip for us and the rest of the bus tour - Tom left 2 young girls at one of the stops, it was a vantage point for photo's and clearly these girls were photographers, he wouldn't wait, he didn't look for them and at first we thought he was joking when he drove off saying he had left them - we realised by the next stop he had in fact left them and wouldn't return to pick them up even at our request. when we boarded the ferry back the girls had just made it to the Marina by themselves but the boat was already leaving, so they missed the return ferry, the return bus and was now left with a 75mile journey back to Boston, the girls were literally 5mins over time and no one was moaning about this, at the end of the tour we still had a spare 3hrs leisure time, so waiting an extra 10miins wasn't ruining the tour for anyone - We found this to be completely unacceptable and as I said previously spoilt the last leg of the tour.

Thank you for the 4 star review. Fall is a beautiful time of year all throughout New England! I am pleased that you enjoyed Tom's tour as he certainly is a phenomenal tour guide. Tom and our island tour partners have very strict guidelines regarding waiting for guests that do not arrive back to the bus in the allotted timeframe. Tom usually waits an extra 10 minutes from the time he tells guests to be back. We used to have continuous problems with guests arriving back 15-20 minutes late. It got to the point where guests were complaining (with good reason) that it was cutting into their free time at the end of the day. I believe that Tom is very specific regarding his departure time and does state that he is in fact leaving at that time. All of our guests must take into account hat this is a shared tour and not a private tour. I sincerely appreciate your concern regarding this matter. Perhaps it is something that needs to be addressed again during our offseason. Again, my thanks for the review and spending your day with New England Trips! Sincerely, Stephen M.
