Not worth spending so much money to see the island. It is just an average island, but surrounded by a beautiful sea.

Thank you for the review. You are certainly entitled to your opinion, though it is one I would strongly disagree with. Sincerely, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.

The drivers/guides did an excellent job. A lot of information, well-prepared, friendly. Especially the ones who drove us from Boston to Martha's Vineyard and back. My rating for poor is due to the Optional Island Tour which could be done in a much better way. We received a lot of information about the Island and the history, so far so good. But we didn't really visit the Island. It was only a hop on hop off all the time. Just to take pictures for instagram or facebook isn't really what I hoped for. In my opinion it would be necessary to reduce the driving time. Was it really necessary to drive on the other side of the island to stay there for 10 minutes to take the one famous picture. This time we could had spent better on other places. The driver/guide of the Island Tour should increase his advise about the places of interest on the different spots.

Thank you for the review. I am glad that you enjoyed your time with our excellent guides. You are certainly entitled to your opinion though I highly disagree. Most of our guests look forward to visiting the Gay Head Cliffs and lighthouse. Many see it as a highlight of the tour. Tom has been giving tours of Martha's Vineyard for many years and has vast experience. We actually have built this tour based upon guest's feedback that we have accumulated over quite a few years. Honestly, I have never had a guest (until now) recommend deleting the stop at the cliffs from our tour. This tour is an overview of Martha's Vineyards 100 square miles with a professional, experienced island tour guide. That is the tour that we offer. Perhaps a considerably more expensive private tour would have been a better option for you. (you then would have the option of directing the guide as you saw fit) Kind Regards, Stephen M. The island tour with Tom was great. He was a wealth of knowledge. The snacks were nice. The island discount card was only good for a bowl of clam chowder. The traffic was terrible, but that's not something they can control. We spent quite a bit of time waiting for the ferry to get to Martha's Vineyard, it would have been nice to see something else in that area with our tour instead of waiting around for the ferry.

Thank you for the 5 star review of our Martha's Vineyard day trip! Tom is a great tour guide. Having been born and raised on the island, there is not a better person to tour with. During the offseason which is October, our only restaurant tour partner still open is Coupe de Ville. A FREE $6 bowl of chowder for everyone in your party purchasing a meal seems like a pretty good deal to me! THANK YOU COUPE DE VILLE FOR YOUR GENEROSITY! Sorry about the traffic and the wait time but better to be early than late when you have a ferry to catch. Kind Regards, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.
