The bus reminded me of a school bus. The windows stayed fogged and didn’t work properly. The tour guide seemed unauthentic with unrelated stories. We were given about 40 minutes in each town which isn’t enough time to find a store or restaurant that was actually open. There’s nothing you will see on the tour that you can’t see on your own. If I come back I would rent a car and spend the appropriate amount of time needed at each location. It’s obviously off season (October) and was raining. The only light to our trip is our bus driver Jenny who dropped us off at the ferry and took us back to our hotel. She was informative, forthcoming and entertaining. Thanks Jenny Jenny 8675309 for saving our day

I apologize if you did not enjoy your island tour. The vast majority of our guests give this same tour rave reviews. Unfortunately, the weather is something that we can't control, and it has a major impact on how much enjoyment our guests have while on our trip. I'm glad that you enjoyed your time with Jenny. Kind Regards, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.

There was a huge storm and I attempted to cancel but couldn’t. Only 5 places were open on the whole vineyard. You couldn’t explore anything. The water was so rough and crappy that people were scared and getting sick. This was my only chance to see it and it was ruined. 3 hours in a bus to hear someone talk about Jaws was not worth the $

I apologize if you did not enjoy your day. Every one of our guests has the same very fair cancellation policy of 24 hours. We had guests that cancelled within that time frame and were fully refunded. Why didn't you? We have a responsibility to all of our guests to operate the trip whenever possible. Every guest has a responsibility to cancel their own booking within the refundable period to get a refund. I wish that every day was bright and sunny, but that isn't the case. I'm sure if it was you would have had a great day. Unfortunately, we can't control the weather. Sincerely, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.

Awful! The tour should have been canceled. I am so disappointed in Steve, who should have canceled the trip due to horrible weather. Instead, we were forced to go and get on a small van that was so uncomfortable, dirty, odorous and claustrophobic. One passenger became sick and others were trying to convey the same concerns but we were ignored by the driver and Steve. We could not see outside of very small windows. I will never get on any tour from New England Tours. They did not look out for their customers safety. Shame on them! We should all be refunded

I apologize if you did not enjoy the day. First off, this trip was not unsafe as safety is always both ours and our ferry partners top priority. I do remember your phone call asking me to ask other guests to leave early because you wanted to. Something I obviously would not do. I ALSO REMEMBER YOUR THREAT OF A BAD REVIEW IF YOU DIDN'T GET YOUR WAY. I spoke with guests that same day that had a wonderful time despite the weather. Do you think that they wanted to leave early? We always try to operate our trip when possible as we have guests that come from all around the world. For some this may be a bucket list item and their only opportunity to go to Martha's Vineyard. I refuse to take that away from them. To say you were forced to go is 100% not true. You had the same very fair 24 hour cancellation policy as everyone else. Some guests chose to take advantage of it which is perfectly fine. Why didn't you? It is my responsibility to run the trip and yours to cancel your own booking. Sincerely, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.
