Lisa, from New England Tours called the day before the trip to arrange picking us up. They didn't come to our hotel but she told us the best hotel to get to on the route. The day is an early start (we're on vacation!) and the bus was on time. Greg who drove the bus to and from Falmouth was great - giving a guided tour as we drove through the city, and great tips for things to do (we went to the Boston Tea Party Museum based on his recommendation which we probably would never had done and it was great!). The bus stops once in each direction for coffee and other stuff. The 9am ferry ride was nice. If you don't like rocky boats, sit on the middle deck - it's a little windy at times, but the upper and lower decks are much rockier and the lower deck stinks of the diesel fumes. The island tour was good. Loved Edgartown and could have spent a lot longer there (make sure you're back at the bus at the allotted time!). Rest of the tour was ok - certainly worth it - not sure we could have spent the whole day in Oak Bluffs only. Tom, our island driver, was a ball of energy! Full of island information and, being an island native, had plenty to say about the local goings on - sometimes leaning towards a bit of a rant - but interesting and amusing all the same. You have to get the 3:45pm ferry back at the latest to meet the bus. Arrived back in Boston at around 6:30 after a sleepy journey. All in all, a grand day out and well worth the money!

Thank you for this WONDERFUL 5 Star review. Lisa does a superb job in our office handling our reservations and helping set up our hotel pickups. Greg, your guide for the Boston to Falmouth part of your trip is an outstanding experienced Boston tour guide. I am glad that his recommendation worked out well for you. Tom, on the island has tremendous knowledge of Martha's Vineyard having been born and raised there. All in all, we are very proud of the staff that we have assembled here at New England Trips! I am glad that our group put together a 5 Star day for you! Sincerely, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.

This is by far the best way to see Martha’s Vineyard, from the time Kristie picked us up at the Hyatt Regency Boston - her knowledge of surrounding areas was amazing. We took the Island Queen across to Martha’s Vineyard 45 mins, when we got off the ferry, Tom, our Tour Guide was waiting for us, this man is probably the most interesting man on the island, from the history of the Island to all the celebrities he has met and had interactions with over the years is unmeasurable. A fantastic trip all round. Highly recommended. Mike and Tara 😃

Thank you Mike and Tara for this AMAZING 5 Star review! Both Kristin and Tom love to share their vast knowledge of the area. Kristin, being from the Boston area and Tom a true islander, you could not ask for better guides to share this journey with. Your HIGH RECOMMENDATION is greatly appreciated! Sincerely, Stephen M. It was a full pack day and and well worth the price. We also signed up for the tour of the island, which I would highly recommend. The ferry boat ride was near, because you get to see all the island around Martha's Vineyard.
