The tour operator, New England tours, was excellent. We had a call from Steve the day before to confirm our reservation and Jay the driver was super friendly. The tour made about 5-6 stops to grab all passengers and aS Jay said, our experience was easy mainly because we we all on time !!!! Hope same goes for you when you take this tour (but this you cannot predict nor hold it against the tour operator) Once we reached Martha’s Vineyard, We opted not to take the extra 3 hour island tour. Chose to do our own thing with public transit and enjoy ourselves on one of the many beaches. (We were in Boston and Martha’s Vineyard during a heat wave.) We only took a couple busses, as we ran short on time. Had lunch at Nancy’s in Oak Bluffs (third lobster roll in as many days).... talked to nice people and headed back. Jay greeted us again upon return by ferry. Drive back was smooth and enjoyable. Great day overall!!!

Thank you for the EXCELLENT 5 Star Review! We take great pride in being Boston's #1 day trip service to Martha's Vineyard since 2011. Jay has been a team member for a few years now and does a great job taking care of our guests. I'm happy that you enjoyed the island and your lobster roll at Nancy's! Kind Regards, Stephen M. The trip to Martha's Vineyard was fast and safe. the ferry was too slow. Our tour guide on the island was boring and talked constantly about things that were meaningless. We spent over 3 hours circling the island with mostly views of woods. The main bus was full so the remaining passengers were packed into a small bus. I had to sit in the very back with 4 other passengers. The wheel well prevented my legs from staying straight and the shape of the back forced my body to sit in an S shape. My view consisted of a tiny view out the window, the top of the bus, and the heads of the other passengers. Very disappointed as I saw very little and learned even less.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I apologize for the seating arrangements. That day did not work out exactly as we had planned. The ferry came in early and another one of our chartered vans was a few minutes late due to the early arrival. This caused more guests to get into that van rather than be left waiting for another. We strive for perfection and this particular day that wasn't the case. I do hope that you were able to enjoy the rest of your day. Sincerely, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc. We took the day trip from Boston to Martha's Vineyard and back *without* the bus tour of the island. Basically it was a bus ride from Boston to Falmouth, a ferry ride from Falmouth to the island, five hours on our own on the island, then back the same route. We were on our own getting from place to place on the island, and had some issues (including a partial bus strike) but that was not the fault of Viator. The bus driver was informative, the tour administrator at the office (by phone) was available, friendly and helpful. On the way back we were trying to get to our son's condo on the Orange Line of the T (subway), and the driver helpfully dropped us off at an Orange Line T stop near the hotels. We were very appreciative.

Thank you for the 5 Star review. We make it easy to get to Martha's Vineyard from Boston without a car. Without us it wouldn't be so easy! I'm glad that you had a nice day. Thanks again! Sincerely, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.
