Maui Atlantis Submarine Adventure and Snorkel Cruise

Overview

This new undersea exploration package combines the magic of Maui's world at 150 feet below the surface, with the thrills of snorkeling among schools of fish off Lanai. Atlantis uses the world's most technologically advanced passenger submarine. Battery powered to protect the marine environment, the 65-foot, 48-passenger submarine features a spacious, air-conditioned cabin with lots of head and leg room, and large viewing ports to enjoy the action - without getting wet.

Maui Adventure Cruises' Lanai Dolphin Adventure is available Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Departing Lahaina Harbor at 7:30am, the 49-foot vessel crosses the Auau channel to Lanai where the captain chooses snorkel sites that provide the clearest and calmest ocean conditions. Snorkel gear, instructions and safety tips are provided. Dolphins, green sea turtles, and manta rays are often encountered. Lunch and other snacks are included. The vessel returns to Lahaina Harbor by 12:30pm. Must know how to swim.

Passengers must be capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder to board the submarine.
Children must be 36 inches or taller to board the submarine
Children under the age of 4 years are not allowed on the Snorkel Tour
Participating guests on the snorkel tour must know how to swim.
Guests with recent back/neck surgeries or major injuries are not allowed on the Snorkel Tour.
Guests with no swimming experience are not allowed on the Snorkel tour.
Pregnant guests are not allowed on the Snorkel Tour.

Due to updated Coast Guard requirements, all guests and crew must wear masks while in enclosed spaces aboard all our vessels which include Atlantis Submarines. Atlantis Adventures will no longer require guests to show proof of vaccinations or negative Covid-19 tests at the time of check-in.

The snorkeling experience was probably my favorite planned activity we did in Maui! The snorkel Boat Captains were amazing! Great history lesson while traveling to the nearby island to kick off the snorkeling trip where we saw many different species. We then went to a different reef spot off close to the Maui shoreline and were snorkeling with over a dozen sea turtles and exotic fish species. The submarine tour was nice and compliments the snorkeling adventure well and is a great package for a full fun day on the water. If I had to pick it one it would definitely be the snorkeling trip as my favorite!
