Overview

All riders must be 36 inches or taller to participate/ride submarine.

Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Maui’s marine treasures off beautiful Lahaina with Atlantis Submarines Maui. A special added bonus of this tour experience is seeing the spectacular West Maui Mountains while riding our shuttle boat to the Maui dive site.

Stingray, yellow tang, eel, parrotfish, bluefin trevally, and an array of other marine species are seen regularly at the dive site. See firsthand how the Carthaginian, a sunken 19th century whaling brig, has combined with Mother Nature to create a fascinating artificial reef to attract and support marine life of all sizes, shapes and colors.

Our air-conditioned, comfortable submarine interiors offer large viewing ports, which allow guests to relax and enjoy the amazing wonders of the deep. Passengers must be capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder on their own to board the submarine
Total tour time is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes. Actual underwater tour time is 45 minutes
Children must be 36 inches or taller to ride the submarine
Infants are not permitted on the submarine.

Most memorable moment. When the sub surfaced on our arrival. The white sub popping up out of that brilliantly blue water. I've watched my video a few times and I'm still amazed. I was in awe the entire voyage. 5 stars.

We got lucky and saw a spotted eagle ray, a few white tipped sharks, and had a bunch of fish swimming up to the window to check us out. The sunken boat was cool, but probably my favorite parts, besides the perfect timing of songs by the crew, was seeing the flying fish on the way out to the sub and the historucal recreation of a double hulled canoe that the ancient Polynesians used to first come to the islands.
