Overview

All riders must be 36 inches or taller to participate/ride submarine.

Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Maui’s marine treasures off beautiful Lahaina with Atlantis Submarines Maui. A special added bonus of this tour experience is seeing the spectacular West Maui Mountains while riding our shuttle boat to the Maui dive site.

Stingray, yellow tang, eel, parrotfish, bluefin trevally, and an array of other marine species are seen regularly at the dive site. See firsthand how the Carthaginian, a sunken 19th century whaling brig, has combined with Mother Nature to create a fascinating artificial reef to attract and support marine life of all sizes, shapes and colors.

Our air-conditioned, comfortable submarine interiors offer large viewing ports, which allow guests to relax and enjoy the amazing wonders of the deep. Passengers must be capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder on their own to board the submarine
Total tour time is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes. Actual underwater tour time is 45 minutes
Children must be 36 inches or taller to ride the submarine
Infants are not permitted on the submarine.

Amazing experience! Would love to spend more time on the sub exploring all there is at the various locations. The crew was fun and engaging and the construction of the sub is perfect. Its like snorkeling or scuba diving without the gear and technical stuff

Rich was our guide and he was amazing! Fun and warm and really full of Aloha! Sharks and rays were fantastic. Loved the flying fish we saw on the way out to the sub as well.

What a unique and amazing experience. Boarded in downtown Lahaina. Easy check-in and we were greeted by Jim by the water. He entertained us while we waited for our submarine time. You take a shuttle boat to the actual submarine. Crew does an excellent job explaining information and history about everything. Next we boarded the submarine. Tight, but nothing too crazy. My husband is a tall, larger guy and had no problems. Then the real fun began and we submerged! Saw a ton of fish, eels, and even some reef sharks. Jim added wonderful commentary about everything and there was some great music at parts as well. I get motion sickness pretty easily and thought this might be an issue, but before the trip, I took some Dramamine and I was fine the whole experience. So smooth! After you disembark you get to watch the sub go down which is pretty cool. Highly recommend.
