Overview

All riders must be 36 inches or taller to participate/ride submarine.

Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Maui’s marine treasures off beautiful Lahaina with Atlantis Submarines Maui. A special added bonus of this tour experience is seeing the spectacular West Maui Mountains while riding our shuttle boat to the Maui dive site.

Stingray, yellow tang, eel, parrotfish, bluefin trevally, and an array of other marine species are seen regularly at the dive site. See firsthand how the Carthaginian, a sunken 19th century whaling brig, has combined with Mother Nature to create a fascinating artificial reef to attract and support marine life of all sizes, shapes and colors.

The activity was fun it was quite an experience to be in the sub, but we didn't see many creatures and the coral reef as we expected. Caution: Viator instructed us to wait for pick up on Front Street in front of the hotel, but no one was there to pick anyone up. You have to check in at the Submarine Adventure shop nearby and then they would further instruct you to the correct place to board the sub for the tour!

Excellent ride. I thought too expensive for what you get but it is something you only do once.
