Overview

All riders must be 36 inches or taller to participate/ride submarine.

Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Maui’s marine treasures off beautiful Lahaina with Atlantis Submarines Maui. A special added bonus of this tour experience is seeing the spectacular West Maui Mountains while riding our shuttle boat to the Maui dive site.

Stingray, yellow tang, eel, parrotfish, bluefin trevally, and an array of other marine species are seen regularly at the dive site. See firsthand how the Carthaginian, a sunken 19th century whaling brig, has combined with Mother Nature to create a fascinating artificial reef to attract and support marine life of all sizes, shapes and colors.

Our air-conditioned, comfortable submarine interiors offer large viewing ports, which allow guests to relax and enjoy the amazing wonders of the deep. Passengers must be capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder on their own to board the submarine
Total tour time is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes. Actual underwater tour time is 45 minutes
Children must be 36 inches or taller to ride the submarine
Infants are not permitted on the submarine.

I highly recommend this submarine adventure to anyone traveling to Maui! It was so cool and different. We got to see so many beautiful things in the ocean. The captain and crew were so friendly and knowledgeable making it a great experience!

This excursion should not be missed. Expert crew, narration of the sea life and historical information was very informative and what a great sense of humor they had. You don’t feel claustrophobic even though we did go down to 130 feet. We passed by a sunken vessel which housed numerous corals and we saw so many different species of fish. It was so worth it!
