Overview

All riders must be 36 inches or taller to participate/ride submarine.

Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Maui’s marine treasures off beautiful Lahaina with Atlantis Submarines Maui. A special added bonus of this tour experience is seeing the spectacular West Maui Mountains while riding our shuttle boat to the Maui dive site.

Stingray, yellow tang, eel, parrotfish, bluefin trevally, and an array of other marine species are seen regularly at the dive site. See firsthand how the Carthaginian, a sunken 19th century whaling brig, has combined with Mother Nature to create a fascinating artificial reef to attract and support marine life of all sizes, shapes and colors.

Total tour time is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes. Actual underwater tour time is 45 minutes

Infants are not permitted on the submarine.

Fun and educational trip. The staff were professional but had a great sense of humor, we had Keo and she was fantastic. The guides do not bore you with excessive details but still highlighted everything we saw while making it fun and light hearted. We got to see many different species of fish as well as multiple sharks and even a manta ray! The submarine itself had a perfectly clear view despite a windy and cloudy day. I think anyone who left a bad review just genuinely weren't interested in nature so this tour clearly wasn't for them.

We booked a tour for 4 adults, a child, and 2 infants. We specifically used the website and chose infant which was a choice THEY provided. When we arrived they told us infants aren't allowed and they wouldn't refund us. When we asked why it was an option if not allowed he just laughed it off and said we should know the rules that aren't listed anywhere. When we asked where we could find the rules he didn't know. We never got to go on the tour because of this bait and switch.
