The unique design of the Maui Magic allows access to destinations that other boats are unable to reach. The Maui Magic explores more of the coastal waters around South Maui, Hawaii allowing you to see beautiful tropical fish, colorful corals, spinner and bottlenose dolphins, green sea turtles and even seasonal humpback whales! Along the way, you'll get to explore Maui’s dramatic coastline that only a few boats travel to! Get a chance to watch spinner dolphins and Pacific bottlenose dolphins ride alongside the boat (when Mother Nature permits). We also choose a second spot where you can often snorkel with turtles. ."

Being on a snorkeling trip with only 20-25 versus 80 people was much more interactive. The crew was great; hamburgers were the best because they were grilled while we stopped. Everything was included versus aka crate.

Family of 7 had an amazing morning on the Maui Magic! Captain and crew were very helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. It is definitely worth the $10 extra to rent a wetsuit, especially at the crater. We saw sooooo many different varieties of fish, coral, etc. as well as turtles. Would not hesitate to book again when we return…and we will return! Thanks for a magical and memorable morning!

There are no certainties when we trying to view wildlife and my experience worked out for the absolute best. The captain did a great job of spotting both humpback whales and spinner dolphins (which of course is a plus on this tour). I am 74 and have been on countless sea excursions (including two to Antarctica) but I have never seen as much humpback whales breaches as on this excursion. It was truly amazing! The spinner dolphin show was just as special. When jumping out of the water these dolphins (which traveled in groups) do numerous 360 degree revolutions within the second or so they are out of the water. Tremendously exciting! Molokini Crater was awesome to view although the water was a bit rough there for snorkeling. We did see some sea turtles in the turtle area.
