Wonderful setting in open air, on the lawn, within sight of Black Rock, the ocean, and sunset beauty. Nicely laid out buffet with plenty of food for everyone. The dancers were perfect. Grace, beauty, strength. Exactly what one looks for in the hula and polynesian dancing. The fire dancer, at the end of the show was also excellent. The emcee...corny, not to my taste at all, and really a shame to have him introducing the fabulous dancers. Food was tasty for me, a pescatarian (do not eat meat other than seafood). Two folks with me said the meat dishes were okay. Not exciting, but appealing. Nice big salad. Fish was good, noodles good, rice dish tasty. Interesting and delicious desserts. Piña colada wasn’t great. Plenty of other choices including wine, water, iced tea, punch of some sort. Overall, it’s pricey, but worth it for a once in a lifetime experience. We went to the Hyatt luau two years ago. I would say this is comparable in price and dancers. Likewise emcee a bit corny. Sheraton luau felt like a nicer venue.

This Luau is one to go to when on Maui. The setting is beautiful and you get to watch the Hawaiian sunset Lanai as the evening progresses. Food is some of the best luau I've had when visiting Hawaii. Drinks are also very good with plenty of Pina Coladas and Maitais available. The entertain is very professional, wel done and entertaining.

This was my third trip to Maui and my second time to attend this luau. The food is delicious and I was dreaming of another plate of it last night. The view of the sunset over the ocean and the divers and swimmers jumping off of Black Rock is unobstructed. The grounds are beautiful and we were treated like royalty. The show is great and the fire dancer is very impressive, handsome and sweet. We were able to meet him after the show and have our picture taken with him. That was a nice surprise. I recommend VIP seating as it is in the shade and you can see the show so much better. The first time I attended a few years ago, I did not have VIP seating. It is worth the difference in price.
