We had an awesome time. Preferred seating is definitely the way to go. Fire dance was awesome. Slow start as everyone gets settled. Not the entertainment fault. Musicians we're awesome. The hostess has an amazing voice. Dancers we're amazing. Do this if you visit Maui.

Our group was very much looking forward to the Luau and we were disappointed. It was only one hour long. Thankfully we only paid for the Cocktail pricing and not the full meal but we were dissatisfied that the sun had not even fully set yet and the show was over and everyone left. The MC and the dancers were excellent however so it was a shame we were only able to see them for short dances. We would have enjoyed it more had there been time between dances with live music to talk and enjoy the night.

We almost didn't bother with booking a Luau, but on the morning of our last day I regretted it and was lucky enough to get tickets to Maui Nui Luau and am so happy we did. This is a must do if it is your first trip to Hawaii. We were not able to get premium seating and our Concierge advised us to get there at 4:30 to line up as seating is first come first serve. We ended up getting there at 4:15 and there was a short lineup. By 4:30 the lineup was huge. I loved how organized they were with seating you and sending each table to the buffet to avoid a mad rush. Plenty of food for all! Entertainment was fabulous!
