Enhance your visit to Maui Ocean Center with a Behind-the-Scenes Tour, Cultural & Plant Tour, or Shark Dive Maui, the island’s only shark dive activity. The Aquarium features world-class shopping at its Maui Ocean Treasures gift shop and ocean view dining at Seascape Restaurant, an Ocean-Friendly certified restaurant serving fresh catch specials and island-inspired cuisine.

Nice easy to navigate. Great presenters. Whale dome unique experience. Nice gift shop. Some unique items and some items $3-$4 markup. As good as Long Beach Aquarium and presenter information quality better than Monterey Bay Aquarium and that’s saying something.

The reef was amazing. Loved the progression of the exhibits. Very well maintained and staff was very helpful. Definitely a good final family activity in Maui prior to our departure. Kids really enjoyed the experience.

A step back in time for us ….What snorkelling on Maui looked like 40 years ago. Our three generation party loved every part of the MOC. For us old-timers, it was very heartening to learn of the restoration efforts for poor old Kahoolawe, after hearing the regular bombing practise back in the 80s. Now if only the sadly depleted reefs can now receive the same commitment to REAL conservation efforts, maybe the outside reefs will once again look like what is inside the MOC.
