The crew was so awesome! Unfortunately conditions didn’t allow us to go to Turtle Town, but we had a great time none the less. My husband did the snuba add on, but I wasn’t able to because I am pregnant. Justin was great in getting my husband ready and comfortable before their dive, and he welcomed me to follow along with them at the surface with my snorkel. He pointed out and showed the group different cool sea creatures and even brought one toward the surface, so I could be included. He made sure to check in with everyone regularly during the dive and help them make adjustments as needed. The crew all around was super helpful and friendly. We had a great day and would highly recommend it to everyone!

The experience was great from beginning to end. Uri worked with us at Makena coast dive charters to accommodate our schedule. The captain Jonathan was really superb. Dave was our favorite snorkeling instructor and guide. It was safe, fun and a beautiful spot to snorkel. My boyfriend says it best….it was putting your head in an aquarium, because there were so many fish and they were just right there in front of us.

Comfortable boat and friendly staff, with the exception of Justin, the SNUBA guide. He is the only tour guide we have ever NOT tipped after an excursion / activity. His intro talk was great, but once it came time to SNUBA, his irritability and impatience became very apparent. Honestly, there is very little you can see via SNUBA that you couldn't with just regular snorkeling at this site anyway. We did not make it to Turtle Town due to weather, but the crate snorkeling was great. No currents, lots of diversity, plenty of room for everyone. Definitely go, but skip the SNUBA.
