Too windy to snorkel at designated spot. Didn’t see any turtles where they took us. Was expecting to see more than a couple fish.

Aloha, Sorry the weather was too windy to make it to the crater yesterday. Your Safety is always our number one priority, and on the rare occasion when it is too rough to safely and comfortably run offshore to Molokini, we take you to alternate locations where the conditions offer the best overall snorkeling for the day. We went to Coral Gardens which is a beautiful and colorful coral reef teeming with a wide variety of fish, and other marine life. Sorry you didn’t see turtles on this outing though they do appear at this location routinely. Not as many turtles as Turtle Town, again though we will always choose your safety first and foremost when choosing our snorkel destinations, which most of our guest appreciate.

The entire snorkel trip was the best. The crew was outstanding. For inexperienced snorkelers, the captain, Captain T, gave snorkel lessons. and provided tons of useful information. For experienced snorkelers, you did your own thing. An instructor taught those who wished, to SNUBA. There was a reasonable extra charge for this, but well worth the experience. Safety and taking care of the passengers' needs were a top priority. On our particular trip, we were rewarded with a spectacular whale show. The captain did everything possible to give us a great whale watching experience. We were fed well before and after snorkeling, including adult beverages if you were so inclined. We have been on several snorkel trips to Mollokini with other companies, but none compared with this. If you miss the opportunity to snorkel with the Pride of Maui, you are short changing yourself.

Saw many whales on our cruise to Molokini. The water was clear and blue and made it easy to see the beautiful fish by the reefs. Knowledgeable staff of ocean life. All around great trip to the small island.
