With two younger kids (ages 4 and 7), we chose the whale watching/snorkeling trip. We weren't sure how the kids would enjoy the snorkeling, so we wanted to combine it with the whale watching as well. Check-in was easy, and upon arrival, the boat was clean and well-stocked. We first headed to the coral gardens for some snorkeling. Both kids loved the adventure, and the staff was incredibly helpful getting them geared up and in the water. After snorkeling, we headed out to see some whales. We were lucky enough to have a mama and calf follow the boat while we enjoyed lunch. The fresh veggies and condiments were a wonderful addition to the burgers/chicken/hot dogs. The only recommendation I have for those taking young kids is to bring some cash to rent a wet suit. The water is chilly, and I know my kids had a better time since they wore wet suits. Mahalo, Pride of Maui! When we come back next year, we're definitely booking another trip!
