This is a good activity to do in Hawaii. They also offer jet ski rentals(my favorite) and banana boat (didn’t try it)

From the boat ride out to the parasailing itself the experience was fantastic. The guys were knowledgeable and very professional. We felt safe and well taken care of. All in all a wonderful time !

Not great. We arrived to be told they were charging us another $50 to have my husband and son on the boat watching us - we felt that was a rip off. We had to share the small boat with another couple (during Covid!!) and watch them as well. We were only in the air for our ride for 6mins ! Also be aware you have to do a rather tricky small boat to boat transfer in the middle of the choppy ocean. When on the boat was strong promotion to give a $20 tip to the guys driving the boat so we did. In short- I've had way better - I can't recommend - Bottom line very expensive when you consider the very short ride time and add the additional $70 you didn't expect to pay.

Aloha: We do charge for observers to be on a boat limited to 6 people. Instead of an observer paying a parasail rate we came up with a reasonable observer rate. I hope you have fond memories of your Hawaiian visit
