What To Expect

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament

Your experience begins as you enter a complex inspired by an 11th century European-style castle. In the Hall of Arms, admire the display of medieval artifacts. There are coats of arms from many prestigious families and a spectacular array of medieval weaponry on display. Make your way into the arena and Royal trumpeters announce the call to the feast, summoning guests to take their seats in the arena in one of six designated color "zones" representing six authentic regions of Medieval Spain. You’ll feast on a four-course dinner, served sans silverware as the live show opens. The live production presents audience favorites such as jousting, sword fights, horsemanship, and falconry. Guests are taken back in time and encouraged to cheer for one of six "Kings of the Realm"

A recreation of jousting and hand to hand combat set in medieval Spain. An enjoyable evening although very similar to other events of this kind. At times it was difficult to hear announcements made by the "king" and "queen" due to the noise from the crowd. Also there was some confusion as to which show I was due to attend. I booked the 07.30 pm show three months before and was e-mailed by a staff member to inform me that the only available show was for 05.30 pm. I arrived for the 05.30 pm show only to be told that I was booked for 07.30 pm and that I would have to wait for the 07.30 pm show. As I had a taxi prebooked this would not have been possible. Thankfully a manager intervened and permitted me to attend the 05.30 pm show.

We paid for VIP for the kids first trip to MT and were pretty let down from our previous experiences. Seated in the second row and service was VERY slow!!! Drink refills happened at the end of the show. Food was good but the desert was very cold and gross. The old apple dessert was awesome. Please bring it back. Spent $70 on 2 topself margaritas that were not good. Tasted lackluster. Main area bathrooms were gross and both men/women areas and common areas smelled extremely foul. Overall, this could be an amazing experience for a family, but they need to tighten it up to be a worthwhile destination.

Such an exciting and great dinner show. The food was delicious and service was excellent. This was our 4th visit and each show has been different and enjoyable.
