Our tour guide and musician was knowledgeable and entertaining. We did the shorter tour, but unfortunately had toured Sun Studio the day before. Much of the information was a repeat from what we had learned there. Windows in the bus kept fogging up and were hard to see out of. They should have turned a fan on. Overall, it was good, but I'd recommend doing it BEFORE doing touring any music studios.

All of the guides on this tour are professional Beale Street musicians who play and sing during the tour. They also talk about the history and the behind-the-scenes stories of Memphis personalities. The guide we had was personable and knowledgeable. We paid to include Sun Studios on our tour. The driving tour around memphis was OK. We only got off the bus twice, once at Levitt Shell - nothing to see here. It was where Elvis first played. We hung out for awhile, then got back on the bus. The other stop was sun Studios. We were thinking we would be getting off to see some of the iconic places we were driving by. It was a nice break from walking.

We wanted to do this music tour whilst on our Deep South road trip in Memphis. The guy who run the tour was fun, friendly and interesting. He sang his way round the tour with great catching songs. He gave out tambourines and shakers to use during the tour but as we entered the bus last he had none left for us!! The bus was comfy and clean. We would recommend you give it a try it's great. We travelled a long way (UK) and had a fab couple hours. Thankyou Backbeat Tours.
