Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Watching Tour

Overview
Although we are the original whale-watching company in Juneau (operating since 1994), we are still small and family-owned and operated! We want you to feel like part of the family, and we pride ourselves on prioritizing local hires in order to give back to our community and give you the best possible tour experience. We want our guides to love Juneau as much as you do!

Our fleet consists of only mammal-friendly jet boats, and the small size and intimate setting will make you feel right at home with the whales.

We pride ourselves on our quick transfers between vehicles! We don't want you to wait any longer than you absolutely have to!

The stop at Nugget Falls and Mendenhall Glacier were a lot of fun. Take the time to walk to Nugget falls even though it’s a mile. Whale watching was fun with lots of space on the boat. It’s not a small boat so there is room to move around to the top and bottom. Hosts are very kind and informative and give out great snack bags! We were able to see lots of whales and even saw one breach.

This was an amazing 2 in 1 adventure! We went in July! The Whales were very playful and amazing to watch during the WHOLE trip. They were with us the entire time. The boat Captain and crew were able to help identify the whales by name and were super knowledgeable and entertaining. The glacier was beautiful to see and an easy short hike to get to amazing views of the glacier and waterfall. Our family definitely recommends booking this tour rather than the one offered on the cruise ship. It is priced right, smaller groups and a more personal experience.

Captain Nick and Raven were exceptional, providing us with lots of insight and history. We saw lots of whales and the glacier was beautiful.
