We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion on the float. Our guide Trent was super, informative and we felt safe. A bonus seeing the seal in the rapids. Glad we did this it was so serene and peaceful at the lake and fun on the way down. Thanks Trent.

My husband and I and two of our friends took this excursion today in Juneau on our NCL cruise. We're all in our mid-late 70's, so I was a little apprehensive about it being too physical. I am SO glad we booked this excursion! Our guide Trent was the best! He was so capable, humorous, knowledgeable and an overall terrific guide. The scenery was so beautiful! The rapids were fun rather than scary, and hearing Trent behind me saying, "Don't worry, I got you!" was unbelievably comforting! Definitely a highlight of the whole trip! Thanks Trent!!

This was a great excursion- Trent was a fun and talented guide, we were amazingly lucky to see rainbows at the glacier too. The boat was “cozy” and not super comfy- that’s fine, but people should be aware- you should be in decent physical shape to do this float trip- (due to the close bench seating, and full capacity)- you can choose to paddle or just ride. There were salmon dip and reindeer sausage snacks at the end but mostly picked through if you are the last boat- so don’t count on having a snack. All of the staff were fun and very well organized- informing us about our gear, and boat loading instructions, etc…. Fun active way to explore near the Mende hall glacier…. If you have time try to walk/see glacier closer before the trip-so it. - we didn’t have time for that, and the float trip can see the glacier but not real close.
