Overview

In this ocean Mermaid Swimming Lesson, you will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to transform into a mermaid and explore the beautiful, underwater world of Maui's most scenic coastline! A professional mermaid instructor will give you a private, one-on-one swimming lesson in a mermaid tail of your choice, as well as teach you tips & tricks to help you improve your mermaid technique. All lessons take place in the calm, shallow, and protected waters of Makena Bay in South Maui. This cove offers extraordinary coastal views of Haleakala, Molokini, Pu'u O'lai, and the neighboring islands!

AVAILABLE TAIL & MONOFIN SIZES:

Child tail sizes: 6, 8, and 10.
Adult tail sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL

Child monofin sizes 1-4 (Jr 9 -13 with provided neoprene socks).
Adult monofin sizes: Men’s US 6 – 11.5 / Women’s: US 4.5 - 10.

Must be ages 6+. *(Note it says 'Adult' while choosing number of participants. This includes ages 6-99).

If you have ever thought about being a mermaid you HAVE to do this activity. This was a major highlight of our Maui trip and I will definitely be keeping in touch. Aqua was really informative and helped to let us know how the water conditions the morning of would potentially make the underwater pictures not great and offered us a refund - we (I) decided to do it anyway because I was so set on becoming a mermaid! Both my boyfriend (30+M) and I (27F) did this without any kids and it was fantastic. After Aqua gave us a quick lesson on how swimming in the monofin works (both of us are decent swimmers) we went out deeper in the bay and were actually able to dive, swim and exist out in the water for (a bit longer than) the entire hour. I really felt like Ariel and my 5 year old inner child was through the rough. Aqua took some amazing photos of us on the beach before swimming and of us underwater! A sea turtle made an appearance and Aqua helped me to follow the turtle friend around for some amazing mermaid photos. I was the first one in the water and the last one out. I absolutely loved this experience and would absolutely recommend it for any one, male female, old, young, to go be a merperson.

Went with some friends. A legendary experience with fantastic people. To live out my dream as a merman - a son of Poseidon - swimming through tropical waters in a majestic tail for the first time felt truly powerful. Aqua was super fun, graceful, and professional. A must do if you're in the area!

By far the best activity we did while in Maui. Took my 9yo daughter and became a mermaid with her. Aqua was a fantastic guide. My daughter had so much fun and the photos were phenomenal!
