Quite grateful such a cool experience exists in Sitka! Mike was awesome at teaching through each step of the process. Excited to see what other animals he decides to add to his catalog of options.

My son and I spent a few pleasant hours with Mike at his workshop learning how to transform a dull piece of metal into a vibrant piece of art. He has a teacher’s knack for putting people at ease and gradually leading them through the various parts of the project. Before we knew it, we had acquired a beautiful memento of our time in Alaska as well as taste of metal working skills. Highly recommended! PS Great pizza and beer next door at The Harbor Mountain Brewing Co.

Mike provides excellent instruction and a safe, comfortable environment in which to create a wonderful memory and piece of art. I took this class with my dad as a Father's Day gift and he loved it. Mike clearly explained the steps we'd take to grind, polish, shape, and torch our chosen metal piece. We had a great time and came away from this class with an appreciation for what he does and excitement to do it again in the future.
