Mexican Street food, Tijuana Day trip from San Diego

Overview
Street food in Tijuana means, fat, salsa a quick service but mainly a bunch of flavor. Imagine being a student and in your way from the school to your work you don’t have time but a food truck can save you a give you the meal you need to keep going. That kind of experience is in our tour, walk and eat. In the Mexican street food you can find snacks like fresh fruit with lime and pepper who will refresh you in a hot summer day, boiled corn with a little of butter, lime and also salsa you can keep chatting with your friends and exploring the streets. The taco it’s the king of the streets, and there's many presentations  from the simple beans taco to the taco al pastor (asada pork with spices),  put a lot of wacamole and lime and the right salsa to take it to another level. At the end we should look for a good tap room to try craft beer. If you are more like to taste something sweet maybe a margarita in a authentic mexican cantina will be the option. During the tour and tasting the street food you will build your own opinion about mexico, come with us to cross the border.

Incredible experience! We had so much fun and Tadeo was knowledgeable and friendly! He took us to the most incredible tacos and aqua Fresca and made sure we had time for shopping! Loved everything about the tour and highly recommend!

We had a wonderful trip thanks to Humberto - filled with local and tourist experiences, which is exactly what we were looking for. Humberto is very fluent in English and appears to know everything about the area. Aside from facts and history of the area, Humberto quickly identified our interest and was about to converse about the topics we were more interested to learn about than others (and customize the tour accordingly). The reviews are accurate about the meeting spot. We made the mistake of reading them and taking matters into our own hands - crossing the border before getting the message from Humberto. DO NOT DO THIS! LOL. We of course were okay but we crossed early (1 hour before the tour) and had nothing to do on the other side. We also didn't have cell reception so we couldn't get the message from Humberto (but we did see them when we crossed back - he texted us + called us). However, Humberto being the smart gentleman he is spotted us when the tour was supposed to start, introduced himself and we were off with him in no time. So, in short, it's best to wait on the US side and get the message from your guide and then cross (it takes around 10 mins to cross to Mexico). As a summary, this was a great experience and I strongly recommend you do it if you want an authentic experience (and of course, good food) :)
