I had time to spare before going a cruise and this was the perfect way to spend it. Jesse was informative and interesting and competently answered every question I asked. My only concern was a lack of a safety briefing which is pretty standard anywhere else. However he quickly assessed I was competent on a Segway, so it was not an issue and I assume if I had been inexperienced more time would have been spent on this. Some great stops on the way. The Holocaust Memorial was really poignant.

You must be experienced with Segway device to take this tour safely. Especially on busy streets shared with cars. We arrived early on afternoon of May 12th, having planned for this moment for months. I was excited based on my experience with a Segway tour of Golden State Park in San Fran last year. However, this local company "trained" my wife on a Segway for her first experience, on a crowded sidwalk , in front of a plate glass window. After 5 minutes, the "instructor asked her is she was good to go?! She said she was uncomfortable and told me she would not go. SInce we had just arrived in Miami that morning, and I did not want my wife to wait for me alone for two hours, I cancelled also. When I asked for a refund, they pointed to a sign on the wall saying no refunds. My wife could have been more adventurous and tried it anyways. But I had promised her training, which this was not at all, compared to my San Fran experience. In addition, they were putting bicycles in our group along with Segways, so seemed to me this local company is more interested in what is good for them versus the client. So I wasted a lot of time and nearly 175 dollars.
