Booked a tour, was told we’d receive a call 20 minutes before being picked up. No call, no answer when tried to ring them (5 times). Terrible customer service from Viator!

Tour as such was in line with expectations, but music during the tour was very very, almost debilitating loud. Maybe great for a disco or partyboat, or maybe in a nightclub, but I didn’t expect it on a tour boat. — We were asked to arrive 45 mins before departure; nothing and nobody there. They sort of started boarding 15 mins before EDT, by taking photographs of EVERYONE on the tour; as a result we started > 15 mins late. — Of course the guide can remind people about tips and gratuities, but doing it so very often and so ostentatious, will lead to less or no tips at all!

I was very disappointed that they over book these reservations and pack people in like sardines. We showed up on time and had to sit in the bottom of the boat where you cannot see and there are dirty windows. So we got no fresh air or view. It is nice that the tour guide is bilingual, but it seemed like she catered more towards the Spanish community. Also, they were pointing at houses that weren’t actually celebrity houses. Shakira’s house even has a banner on the back that says “this is not Shakira’s house and she never lived here“. A third of the trip was also next to the shipping docks, so our view was of shipping containers for the last portion of the tour.
