We really enjoyed our tour with Ellen who was full of energy and insight into the food and history of Midtown. Her enthusiasm for Atlanta was infectious and we were only sorry not to have more time to follow up her suggestions for other great things to see and do. We have been on lots of food tours and this was one of the best with loads of interesting food to enjoy, a wide range of local speciality drinks and good company too. Definitely a great way to spend time in the city.

From Ellen, your Tour Guide! Hey MissBinks! It was so fun to have y’all on tour, Here's hoping that you will have a go at making shrimp and grits when you go back to the UK. Have a blast in Charleston and Savannah and be on the look out for those southern pecan pralines in Savannah. Thanks for taking a moment to share your experience! Save travels! Ellen

Never having been on a food tour before I did not know exactly what to expect. It turned out to be a blast. I loved all the commentary John provided - he was very personable and knowledgeable about the food, Midtown and even historical facts. The restaurants we tried were wonderful, especially that first stop. I would never have thought to combine all the ingredients in that one dish (not spoiling the surprise:) ). I highly recommend the tour and am looking forward to trying another food tour in a different city. John even provided a listing of additional restaurants to try next time we're in town. Fantastic way to spend a Saturday!

Hey K.!! I appreciate you taking a moment to share with the thousands of TA readers that want to know..."So, what's up with Food Tours in Atlanta?" Oh Yeah...and I've never been on a Food Tour! Well...Food Tours are an incredible way to get to know an area of the city, try some foods, taste some clever drinks, learn some history...and on my adventure...laugh a lot!! With my small groups, you can't hide! Come on! It's an adventure! Kudos to L. for being such a good sport...and returning my banter as cleverly!! My best to you both! John

The Peachtree Food Tour in midtown Atlanta is excellent! Our tour guide, John, was super informative and enthusiastic. We tried terrific local foods coupled with appropriate beverages, recieved great recommendations for lunch and dinner spots and enjoyed learning quite a bit of Atlanta history. The tour is well planned and executed. We look forward to returning and booking another tour, perhaps in Buckhead next time.

Tina, I have always thought that when you sign up for a Food Tour...you should get more than "food" and a "tour". I'm a 20 year condo owner in Midtown, Atlanta's restaurant heaven, and am loaded with food and fun suggestions....and let's not forget that my sweet Jeri hasn't cooked in 20+ years. That's a lot of dining "research" :) We are a big city with lots of choices and my wife and I truly want you to spend your travel dollars wisely...and not just on food! Terrific experiences abound! Thanks for taking a few minutes to send along this wonderful review! As I type this, I'm 2 hours away from the planning meeting re: the "Discover Buckhead" adventure!! More food and fun coming!! My best! John
