We had a great experience today in Midtown, learning some delightful history and current events about our very own city...not to mention tasting some marvelous food in the neighborhood! Thank you, John for your eloquent and humorous dialogue as we walked Peachtree St., stopping to enjoy some fabulous cuisine during the afternoon. I highly recommend the tour to locals AND tourists alike for a unique taste of Atlanta.

Hi J.!! TA readers should know that the review above must have been written the moment you got home from my little foodie adventure! Wow! I hadn't even started sorting through the photos from your day in my neighborhood before TA sent me an alert that a review had been posted. You are the best! So...next year...you Birthday Girls should give me a quick buzz when you're planning your outing as who knows how many new restaurants will have opened. We'll do different "tastes and sips" and I'll make up different stories. You three figured out quickly that fact-checking was not practical as my stories are better if you just "believe"! :) My best to all of you!! John

If this is your 1st time "Food Tour" like me, or a seasoned "Food Tour" traveler...BEWARE!!! John will absolutely SPOIL & WOW you with his amazing personality, knowledge, restaurant choices, and pairings to a point that no other food tour could stack up!!! I had never heard of a "Food Tour" until recently, and as a native of Atlanta, I'm going to recommend it to all of my friends that live here as well...

Yikes! "...no other food tour could stack up!!" I don't know about that, although I do appreciate your kind words. There are Food Tours around the world that are spectacular experiences that I couldn't hope to compete with. Paris! Lisbon! Bangkok! NYC! San Francisco! How about San Juan, PR!! However...I love my Midtown Atlanta neighborhood and certainly want my TA readers to consider joining me for my version of food, booze, and fun! Eryn, Thanks for sharing your experience...and here's hoping that you'll show up with a bunch of friends and we'll head off for more fun! My best always! John

To celebrate my Bachelorette Party weekend, my bestie scheduled a food tour with John at Peachtree Food Tours. I had never experienced a food tour before, but she knew her "foodie" friend (me!) would enjoy the excursion. Wow-what an amazing experience! We started with a burger and fries...but this burger was far from simple, it had a donut for a bun! Delish! Now I don't want to give up all the yummy food stops, you just have to experience it for yourself...and trust me it is worth every penny! John was so enthusiastic, kind, and funny...he kept the tour lively without skipping a beat. The food tour with John was the highlight of my bachelorette weekend! Thank you John (& Morgan)!!!

L. - Wow! The highlight of the weekend! High praise! Although I'm not certain who had a better time as I had a blast! Lots of food! Lots of fun! And then a parade happened right in the middle of the Tour! Clydesdales and photos! Bagpipers and photos! Baton Bob and photos! Your "Bachelorette" Tour had lots of special moments...leading up to your very special moment in April!! Yahoo to the new Mrs.!! Do I see a First Anniversary return to Atlanta??!! I'll put Morgan in charge of the planning! Thanks for the lovely review! My best always! John
