We spent a lovely few hours walking and discovery tasty food and drinks in Midtown Atlanta. The weather was warm and breezy and the rain only teased us with a few drops. Tips: The tastings are generous so pace yourself. The walking is active but not strenuous and covers several blocks so wear comfy shoes. If you have food allergies or limits let John know. He's very accommodating. Go on this tour as soon as you get to Atlanta. You'll want to go to some of the recommended and tour restaurants during your stay.

Hi Nicky! I love the photos you included! Well...mostly the pic with me and one of my girlfriends! Gotta love Alice with her tattoos and piercings! Thanks for the review but I would like to suggest that "generous" ought to have a capital "G"! Yikes, there's a lot of food! And you were such a trooper sorting through what you could eat! Always the grinning! Always the positive word! I was worried a bit about M.'s comment earlier about your healthy eating vs my crazy unhealthy (!) Tour but, again, all's well that ends well!! Let me be the first to wish you "Buen Camino!" Go, Girl, Go! I'll send you notes from my upcoming adventure in Spain! My best to you both!

We were on our 20 th anniversery and it was like " great places to take a date tour". Yes lots food but its early in day so you can walk it off later! Loved dessert place and take home pastries. The coke with peanuts were cool as ide never had that southern staple! Loved the history especially the old hotel and gone with the wind true story! John was funny and kept tour small! He was efficient too. Wish we had time to go to some places to visit if we were not leaving in am. Thanks john! Candle on cake was nice surprise !!! Chif and shu

C. - Thanks for the wonderful review...and who knew that your anniversary might include some candles!! When I chat with folks after they purchase tickets, I try to ask if the Tour is to celebrate a special occasion. Then I can make sure that a little surprise might happen! Even the terrible singing seemed to make everyone grin! Safe travels! I see more Food Tours in your future! My best to you both!

Wow! What a great way to spend a day in Atlanta. I have been on food tours in other cities and decided I wanted to take a tour in ATL. I have lived close to ATL for 27 years and wasn't sure how I would feel about a "hometown" tour. It was FANTASTIC! John was a great tour guide and the tour itself was loads of fun. John had wonderful facts about ATL and the food was heavenly! If you have a day in the city, spend it with John!

Thank You, Birthday Girl!! Somehow we all managed to celebrate the occasion, walking, tasting, drinking, grinning, laughing, singing.... Did I leave anything out?! What a grand time was had by all!! Of all my birthday outings, you will not be soon forgotten! You had the biggest grin on your face, the entire 4+ hour Tour, that smile making us all happy! You even grinned through the awful, awful singing! Thanks for picking Peachtree Food Tours for your birthday fun! After all of the FaceBook-ing, and emails with photos, and texting to your friends back in Alabama(!), I suspect that I will see you again...and soon! My best to you always!
