E. - Yikes! A Food Tour in Europe?? Me?? Na-a-a-ah! I think you figured out very soon into my Tour that sweet Jeri and I really have a wonderful life on Peachtree Street. It's a blast showing off my neighborhood...and you saw close up why it would seem that Midtown is getting a new restaurant every month!! More research!! Ha! Speaking of research, better start now making plans for Music Midtown! Come on back! (I won't tell Miss J.!!) Thanks for taking a moment to share your thoughts!! My best to your entire family!

This food tour is definitely a five-star experience. I was a solo traveler to join this food tour. I am not a native speaker either. But John made me feel really welcome to the local neighborhood. He is an excellent guide with great knowledge about local culture, and more importantly, a great story teller. And the food was the best Southern cuisine I have ever tasted. Would love to visit Atlanta and join this food tour again.

Thank You, Yang! It's always a treat to have folks on my Tour that are truly discovering something new every moment. You picked a terrific way to get to know the South by trying out my little adventure on Peachtree Street...and then there was all that food! You missed out on the "shopping" so when you come back to visit Atlanta, please give me a call and the two of us will put a finish on your Tour. You should think about doing a food tour in every city you visit as you explore the United States. So much to enjoy! So little time! Best wishes on your continued studies...and travels!!

I really enjoyed this food tour. Sometimes when you go on food tours, the food is so-so, the guide doesn't click with you, it seems poorly planned or organized ... I could go on. However, John's tour through Midtown is about the most excellent food tour that I have been on. The food stops are very thoughtfully selected, from food and beverage, to overall visit fit. The ongoing narrative about the history and sights of Midtown were informative and well taken. The best aspect of it was that the tour guide, John, was very enthusiastic, engaging, and wanted us to experience the best of the area. His level of concern and attention to making everything go smoothly was much appreciated. The handful of hours spent on the tour were some of my best spent in during this visit to the magnificent city of Atlanta. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to add something different to their tour itinerary of the city. You'll learn a lot, appreciate the city more, and be wonderfully stuffed by the end of it all. It is a food tour, you know.

W. - "It is a food tour, you know!"...and so much more! Thanks for the wonderful review, capturing the essence without giving away the surprises. Well done! I have great empathy for solo travelers and their spirit of adventure...and you sure made the most of it! Lots of food! Lots of fun! Your other TA reviews of Atlanta attractions certainly show that you had a grand time visiting my city. I'm thinking that you'll come back soon so I'll keep an eye out for you in my neighborhood. Better yet, don't hesitate to call me and I'll put together another Tour! Different food! Same fun! (And a discount for repeat guests! Cool!)
