Wife and I have been on two other food tours (Asheville and New Orleans) and this one was the really the best experience. First of all, you get a lot more than just a food tour. John shares a lot of Atlanta history and architecture. He takes the time to share about restaurants that are not on the tour. There are five stops on the tour, with a good variety of excellent food. We enjoyed every one of them and plan to go back to each on our own. Our tour was over four hours, but seemed like an hour.
John is "good people". You can tell he has a good relationship with all the restaurant personnel. He sought us out after we had a very bad experience with another Atlanta food tour group. He went out of his way to make sure that we had a good time, but was just as attentive to another couple on the tour. John was very flexible, and worked hard to schedule a convenient time for us.
If you are a visitor to Atlanta, this is one of the first things you need to do when you hit town. We live in the suburbs and don't venture to midtown very often, so the tour was really enlightening for us. If you live here and have family or friends visiting, set them up for an afternoon with John. We are going to buy a tour for my in-laws, and for a daughter and her boyfriend. It is a very unique fun time and I can't imagine anyone not enjoying it.

P. - What a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Gorgeous weather! A great group! Lots of food and lots of fun! And...it certainly was a terrific way to get you back into the Food Tour Family!
Thanks for the review....and for including me on the list of "good people". Easy for me to be "just me" when I'm around folks like you and Ms. P. I know when I'm around good people when all of a sudden the Tour is over! I had a blast and I trust that you two did also.
I'm thinking that I'll be hearing from, maybe even seeing, you guys when the parents come to town. I'm certain we all can come up with a way to tailor the Tour so everyone can participate.
My best to you both!
