The food is all delicious, and the tour also points out many other restaurants to visit that weren't included in the tour all while explaining some of the history of different buildings in Midtown.

Thanks, Nora! I know how busy GaTech keeps you so I really appreciate you taking a moment to write a review. Although we all got a little wet there at the beginning, once I got that yummy burger into you and your sister, we were all good to go! First a Food Tour in Italy. Then Atlanta. The next one?? There is a Tour in Phoenix that gets great TA reviews!! Don't stop now! Best of luck in school and I'll keep an eye out for you in my neighborhood!

Wife and I have been on two other food tours (Asheville and New Orleans) and this one was the really the best experience. First of all, you get a lot more than just a food tour. John shares a lot of Atlanta history and architecture. He takes the time to share about restaurants that are not on the tour. There are five stops on the tour, with a good variety of excellent food. We enjoyed every one of them and plan to go back to each on our own. Our tour was over four hours, but seemed like an hour. John is "good people". You can tell he has a good relationship with all the restaurant personnel. He sought us out after we had a very bad experience with another Atlanta food tour group. He went out of his way to make sure that we had a good time, but was just as attentive to another couple on the tour. John was very flexible, and worked hard to schedule a convenient time for us. If you are a visitor to Atlanta, this is one of the first things you need to do when you hit town. We live in the suburbs and don't venture to midtown very often, so the tour was really enlightening for us. If you live here and have family or friends visiting, set them up for an afternoon with John. We are going to buy a tour for my in-laws, and for a daughter and her boyfriend. It is a very unique fun time and I can't imagine anyone not enjoying it.

P. - What a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Gorgeous weather! A great group! Lots of food and lots of fun! And...it certainly was a terrific way to get you back into the Food Tour Family! Thanks for the review....and for including me on the list of "good people". Easy for me to be "just me" when I'm around folks like you and Ms. P. I know when I'm around good people when all of a sudden the Tour is over! I had a blast and I trust that you two did also. I'm thinking that I'll be hearing from, maybe even seeing, you guys when the parents come to town. I'm certain we all can come up with a way to tailor the Tour so everyone can participate. My best to you both!

I have been on the look out for unique experiences in Atlanta and came across Peachtree Food Tours and thought it would be a great 25th Anniversary gift to my husband and me since we love to eat and are always on the lookout for new dining experiences in midtown Atlanta. We also love history so this food tour, combined with little known stories of how the area developed, was right up our alley. We loved the small group we were with and John, our guide, was very knowledgeable, personable and had a lot of charm and wit! Oh and his restaurant choices and menu selections were right on point! We loved that he paired each plate with a unique adult beverage as well. We also learned about over 50 other restaurants in that area as well. We highly recommend this tour to visitors and locals alike. Come hungry and don't be in a hurry because the 4 hour tour may turn into 5! You are done when you are done! No hurrying- just a laid back, relaxed, fun day and plenty of great food and drink!

C. - Thank you! High praise which is spot-on! "Just a laid back, relaxed, fun day!" Yep! That totally captures what I would love to have each of my guests respond when asked. "So...How was that Food Tour you all went on?" Lots of food! Lots of fun! Of course I also like the part where you state that I have a lot of charm and wit! (Dear TA readers, I am a male and I do have a healthy ego. Just sayin"...) Ha! I loved the the fact that you and M. and I could just carry on as we strolled in my neighborhood. As I told M., let's do this again....when I'm off the clock! My best to you both! I'll be waiting on Italy stories!
