I own my own food tour company and take them where ever I travel, for fun, for research and of coarse to fill my belly. I can honestly say that Peachtree Food Tours is one of the best I have been on! John, the owner and our tour guide, is a wonderful host, touring us through midtown like we were family. The food paired with adult beverages at almost all the stops was presented well and very tasty. He has chosen some great stops and really thought it all out. John will tell you everything you need to know about Atlanta history and happy to answer any questions. Whether you are a local looking for something to do or in town for a visit you should not miss this tour!

Thank you, L.!! For the sweet review! Yep! But for me it was your invaluable comments that I took to my wife for discussion. How to make Peachtree Food Tours even better?? Wow! You were the catalyst for a couple of subtle changes that make sense...and make for more fun! I will have to send you a photo of my wife and the amusing role she now plays in my Food Tour. Nothing like having your "major investor" on the street with you! A little more food but a lots more fun!! You are the "Pro"! I'll get there! Thanks to you! John

As a local t thought I knew Midtown fairly well but the tour was great fun and I discovered some delicious food I wouldn't have known about otherwise. We left with full bellies AND with treats to take home. I'm ready to try food tours in other cities now!

Yikes! 2AngryMen! Thanks for the great review! Obviously all that food and fun impacted the "angry" part and you all ended the Tour as 2HappyMen! Ha! Always fun to take locals on my Midtown adventure, not only for the food surprises but the back story on my neighborhood is pretty cool. My favorite comment is when I hear "I didn't know that!" Another Tour coming up soon - Discover Buckhead - so stay tuned! More news to follow..... Different neighborhood! Different food! Same fun!

I loved this tour! Owner/guide/local historian John treated our small group to a fun and tasty experience of Midtown, Atlanta. I am a business traveller with limited free time to do touristy things when I arrive in a city. A colleague found this tour online and it was as friendly and odd and memorable as it promised (more so I think). The food tasting experiences took us to places I would never have tried and food and drinks I would never have ordered (the Coke/bourbon/peanuts was one of the stranger things). John also follows up the tour with photo memories from our day and links to the historical sites we saw. Try it!!

R. - You and C. were a delight to have on the Tour! Lot of food....and lots of great little conversations! Thank you for the sweet review as I laughed out loud at the "odd" comment! But after I thought about it for a moment, I would guess that we in the South do have some odd bits about how we live our lives! I'll just have to visit you in your South (Africa) and we'll compare notes! My best to you both and here's hoping that your extended stay in the USA will allow you to try some more Food Tours. Check out the TA reviews and go for it!
