If you have the time while in Atlanta I highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide, Rachael, was great and very knowledgeable of the food, cocktail parings, the restaurants we were visiting and the area to which our tour took us. Every tasting and sampling was delicious, but my favorite was the shrimp and grits. It seriously was the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. The portions were the perfect size, it was enough to really enjoy the flavors and drinks but it wasn’t too much to where you were stuffed at the end. This tour I was by myself, but my husband and older children would have loved the tour as well. There were alcoholic drink parings at each location but if you had someone under 21 or if you did not want the drinks, they could easily have been substituted. This is a “Must Do” while in Atlanta!

Dear BrandieDragt, Thank you so much for your great review! Glad you found Rachel great and very knowledgeable of everything -- our goal is to have the best guides who can really show you around Atlanta and teach you about the cuisine of the city and have FUN. I love shrimp n grits, too so glad you enjoyed that dish from Einstein's. I think we'd be remiss to have a food tour in Midtown and not include them. They are the #1 brunch spot in Atlanta and have been for years. Luckily on our tour we don't have to wait for a table since we have VIP entrance to all our restaurant partners. Come back and bring your older kids and hubby! Please be sure to reach out to us directly when you return because since you are a Flavors Foodie insider you'll get 10% off on future tickets in both our Atlanta food tours, and our food tours in the following locations: * Flavors of San Juan Food and Culture Tours in Puerto Rico * Flavors of St Thomas Food Tours in the USVI * Flavors of St Martin Food Tours in Sint Maarten (caribbean) Have a Flavorful day! We enjoyed our second round of the Atlanta Gourmet Food Tour. This time, our host was Ellen Anderson. She was extremely knowledgeable about the food and the city. The restaurants we visited were outstanding (not a disappointment in the bunch), and we topped off the day with some hands-on training mixing our own cocktails. There is something for everyone in this tour. Come hungry and ready to make a few new friends. Thank you Ellen! And thank you Brian, Lisa, Lamont, Crystal, and Robert for making the day fun and laughter filled.

Me and my wife decided to have another food tour in Atlanta and this was by far the best. All of the food was great and they cover every taste bud possible with this tour. Even though the food was outstanding, what really made this tour amazing was the wonderful host, Ellen Anderson. She was knowledgeable, caring and passionate about the culinary arts. We learned that the tongue is not just one center of taste. We learned to use every part of our tongue to truly engage all the flavors that this tour could offer. Ellen gave an excellent history of the city and was willing to give us tips on what to do after the tour was over in terms of summiting Atlanta for the rest of our stay. Ellen was able to engage all the visitors on this tour and create lasting relationship with everyone on this tour. We highly recommend this tour and that you make it a request to have Ellen Anderson as your guide.
