Our group of four had such a great time with John during our food tour! The restaurant selections were great, and John’s passion for the area stood out at every stop! We loved learning the history of Midtown and what made it the Midtown it is today. John also gave us great restaurant recommendations for that evening. He knows his stuff! Highly recommend this food tour if you have a weekend to spend in Atlanta!

Hi Elizabeth! Thanks for taking a moment to share your experience. I do have a passion for not only my neighborhood's dining opportunities but also for the incredible history that unfolded years ago on this section of Peachtree Street. I'm so happy that you really enjoyed my recommendation for that evening's dining as sometimes that's the real advantage of a food tour...your guide is local, with even more thoughts on where to spend your vacation time...and your money. Thank you for the lovely review! My best! John

We only had a few days in town and wanted to maximize our time while still being able to try a variety of things. Going on a food tour was the best way to see, taste and drink our way through an unfamiliar part of the city. The food and drinks were fantastic at every stop but the detail that I did not expect was how knowledgeable and genuine John was. Of course he talks about the restaurants but also gives a very detailed history to different parts of the neighborhood. Having lived in the city for so long he is the BEST source of recommendations for both dining and lodging in the Atlanta. Once you book your tour he quickly sends a detailed list of recommendations that you should definitely consider! John truly makes the tour one of a kind!

Wow! Spot on advice! "Going on a food tour was the best way to see, taste and drink our way through an unfamiliar part of the city." Yep! You're in my neighborhood where I have lived for the past 20 years, affectionately referred to as "Restaurant Heaven". But...it's not just Midtown for dining and fun. I am a great source for other restaurants around town...and fun things to do...and even some lodging suggestions. I love my neighborhood...and my city...and it shows!! Thank you, Molly! When you think about coming back to Atlanta, remember that October is weather perfect and a grand time for some major fun. My best always! John

This was my first food tour and I loved it. I try to eat vegan/vegetarian as often as possible and some great accommodations were made for me. The switched up food was just as good as the other items. The tour was fun, filling and informative. I really enjoyed the cocktails served with the food as well. I loved this concept and think it was worth every penny!

Thank You, Heather! Gotta love "worth every penny"! And...being a vegan doesn't penalize anyone. Lots of options...which also pair quite nicely with the "cocktails" that are part of the experience. For you readers that have never tried a food tour, you'll love the "concept" as well as finding it a fabulous travel experience. Who doesn't like to walk...and eat...and sip...and even learn some history. I definitely see more food tours in your future! My best always! John
