The tour was ok as well as the food bites we had. The tour guide did an excellent job and showed a lot of knowledge in the food scene as well as the cultural elements in Mission District. As this is a walking tour we had to watch out for several areas on the different streets we were walking on which had human / animal feces. The streets were not adequately clean as well as the sidewalks. If you can deal with that then it is ok.

My significant other an me loved this Mission food tour. Our guide was funny, pleasant and knowledgeable. He told us fun and interesting stories about the Mission, and gave us extensive recommendations where to eat that night. We went to one of his recommendations, Gracias Madre and had a wonderful dinner. On the tour, we ate tacos, pupusas, a few bakeries and thin crust pizza. We loved every bite and all the information. We highly recommend you take this tour to get familiar with a real foodie neighborhood. Well done!

I have been on many food tours even had taken the SF Mission tour from another SF company. Our guide Frank is in the wrong line of business. He is soft spoken had limited interactions with his guest. One of the great aspects of these tours is to learn about the area which makes you want to look around after tour. The Mission area is famous for the beautiful murals throughout the neighborhood. We walked to one alley Frank told us that we could not visit because Sidewalk Tours of SF have not paid the artist. I don't think this is a true statement since the murals are done to beautify the area, this a SF alley. The food selectons we received were cold, he provided half of a muffins with a soft boiled egg (good), a slice of pizza but did not bring napkins with samples. He walked in front of the group and at one intersection the light changed, we had to whistle/yell at him to wait for the other half of the tour. Having a good guide makes the tour. So sad that we wasted our $$ with this company.
