We were greeted by a lovely young lady named Casey in the mission district. She share some of her background as well as what we would be doing for our tour. She was pleasant and it was evident she loved sharing her love of the city with others. We started walking through the mission district to our first delightful treat and enjoyed a most unusual egg cooked into a muffin. So excited they shared this treat was otherwise we wouldn’t have know to order it. We also ordered a latte and paid for that separately. This was a great first stop. Then headed to what was described as the best falafel in SF...can’t say it disappointed. Then it was off to explore some of the art and culture of the area before arriving for some Mexican food! One thing to note was that Casey was great about telling us about the access to bathrooms along the way, something I very much appreciated. After a break and some great Mexican food we walked to another area of the mission district and enjoyed some of best thin crust “Tuscany-style” pizza. It was so hot and fresh out of the oven, Casey was great all day at ensuring we were well taken care of. Lastly we enjoyed a wonderful sweet treat from a local bakery. It was the perfect ending to the tour.

Casey was an awesome tour guide as we ate our way through the Mission District in San Francisco. She was unflappable...even in the pouring rain, we had a wonderful tour. Casey gave us some history of the Mission District, took us to some great places to eat, talked a little bit about the architecture of the houses in the Mission...it was informative and delicious. We will be going back to some of the restaurants that she took us to so we can try more of their food. I would definitely go on another tour with Casey. And I would highly recommend that you book this tour!

First of all Casey was so great! Full of knowledge about the area as well history. She made the day feel like we were hanging out with friends not on a led tour. We had a diverse age group and she was able to play to each tour member. There was also someone on the tour who had a dietary issue and she seamlessly took care of them without making it a big deal. We all loved the Art and the restaurants. We were able to discover things about the mission district during our staycation that we could not have without the knowledgeable Casey. Totally recommend!! I can't wait to check out the other tours offered.
