What To Expect

Misty Fjords National Monument

Feel the magnitude of nature while learning the fascinating history of Rudyerd Bay, the fjords, New Eddystone Rock and Punchbowl Cove. Mountain goats, black and brown bears, humpback and orca whales, seals and sea lions inhabit the area and are frequently observed from the boat.

What an amazing tour! The sights and the privacy of this tour was phenomenal! There were just a couple more people on my tour and we passed boats with several dozen passengers and I was so glad that I found this one. We got to see more and stay longer!

Great tour with an awesome guide and crew! Small portion of the tour had some swells and they were on top of everything for passenger comfort and safety. Guide was very knowledgeable and comfortable passing on information. Great time!

5.5 hour trip cut to 4 hours because skipper decided to turn around and race back after receiving a text message without even telling us. This was just after he criticized the other boats for not taking people further up to nicer areas. So our time in the fiords was cut by an hour and most of the time is racing there and back. In additon we got a confirmation and voucher less than 24 hours before the trip. W emade no other places and then the time for the trip came we had to pay for 4 people or he would not go. We were stuck since we traveled all the way there for the trip and had to pay double price before he would let us off.

The Misty Fjords Expedition is a 4.5-hour tour, as advertised on the site and completed with your group. Also stated on the website is our policy requiring a 4-person minimum to operate this tour. This was explained to you again on the day of your excursion which you agreed to pay. Your tour had an incredible weather day with flat, calm seas and was very fortunate to have the opportunity to explore the entire National Monument including the back side! You received a custom, private, exclusive tour of the Misty Fjords National Monument in the allotted time and were appropriately charged the minimum fee. There were no extra fees charged for your tour.
