My 13 year-old daughter and I went on the 1/2 day canyoneering trip. Mary was a great guide and we had a super fun trip. She was very informative and kept us entertained on the hikes in and out. Rappels were set up well and safety was definitely her number one priority. We had a great time and will certainly use Red River Adventures the next time we’re in Moab.

We had such a blast on our canyoneering trip. The hike was so much fun-more scrambling than I expected, which made it even better. Mary, our guide, along with Sadie and Mikayla, were great! If we are even back in the area, I would definitely book another tour with this company.

I took a group of 10 for canyoneering as a scout adventure. The guides were terrific. Each anticipated questions, coached, addressed fears with the calm of experienced guides. You cannot beat the setting. They were very time efficient, sending ahead a guide to set ropes while we hiked in. Some of that waiting around kills it for younger kids. They had access and knowledge about the area to take us to a breath taking hike and 2 rappels. The entire outing went off without a hitch. Kudos to the guides for getting the boys who's initial confidence shrunk once out on a rope. Plenty of good clean equipment, large van to move us to location. They even picked up from a local hotel. Two suggestions. Our group of 10 really took over the group. Im not sure how much fun it was for the 3 other participants not with our group to wait out our 10 going down the ropes. I was a big group but Id bet they generally take this size with 2 guides. The managed the time by using two ropes to descend so you were really only waiting in line with 6 not 12 people on one rope. Second; it would have been helpful to do a "practice" rappel on a slope for those who have never been on a rope so participants could feel confident managing the rope and sitting down in the harness before hanging into space. Otherwise, looking forward to going rafting with them later this year.
