Moab Mild to Wild Is there such a thing as a perfect day on vacation? If you book your tours with Mild to Wild, the answer is yes. Having been privileged to travel the world and participated in over 100 tours, today's experiences with Mild To Wild have been two of the best. To commence the morning, our 4 adult children - 48 to 20 And three grands (18 Granddaughter & twin teenage boys) did the half day float on the Colorado. The river was running low due to lack Of rain but that didn't stop the fun. Dean was an amazing guide and very patient with a grandson that is not a water fan. After a water soaked day of fun, Everyone was chattering with laughter as they joined us for a quick change of clothes and lunch before setting out on the next adventure. Given that our Patriarch is closer to 80 than 70 and one twin has some mobility issues, we wanted to see some of the area that you can't see from the main highways, but didn't require extensive hikes. Joe Wolfe, was an extraordinary guide. He asked us what we wanted to see and do. He then made three suggestions-- rough rumble; in the middle; off the beaten path, fun and not as bumpy. -- the original 7 plus Patriarch and Mom/Nana opted for "not as bumpy" -- Onion Creek was amazing. Joe shared that his company is the only one that offers this 16 mile trek into the backcountry. We crisscrossed Onion Creek 26 times in our round trip. We road atop cliffs and in the base of valleys. We tasted salt off a rock and obtained water from a fresh water spring bubbling to the surface at the base of rocks. We waded in Onion Creek and gazed at private ranches off in the distance and clearly off the grid. We went to Moonflower Canyon to see petroglyphs! A tour catered specifically to our groups abilities and desires. We all agreed it was a perfect day! ā€” at Mild to Wild Rafting & Jeep Trail Tours (Moab Office).

We were 2 families with childrenā€™s between 9-11 years old. First time for some of them rafting. River was type 1 the day that we went so it was pretty easy for children to maneuver. Our guide (Ethan) was awesome. He was very friendly, great interacting with children and very funny. Highly recommend experience for families.
