Guide was gruff not friendly. With small rapids the trip was geared to smaller children, but our guide let them in the water over some small waves and they panicked. I don't fine fault with him for this, he may have been trying to give them more excitement. But he told them and the adults that they could not get in the water again. The other rafts from your company and others were having a good time playing in the water while we sat in the raft and watched. The guide's over reaction was not justified by slightly scared children at one particular time. We went on the trip for the children and half the float time became watcher others have fun. I realize safety is important but really, was it that dangerous. It was the guide punishing young children (four through eleven) for being afraid one time at a place chosen by the guide. I've been on several floating trips on this same stretch of the river and in every case the guide made it more fun for everyone, including the adults. Sadly this guide spent more time grumbling about what every other guide was doing wrong. I doubt that I will use your company in the future.

This was so wonderful and a MUST!!! We have three children so we chose the I-II level of excitement. Our guide, Sam, was absolutely fantastic and really made the trip extra special. He introduced us to the level II rapids and the kids loved it. We "surfed the hole", bumped up over rocks, went backwards through some spots and told some "great" jokes about pirates. Come with your own jokes and riddles, they love that. My 12 year old stumped him with his riddle. We are thinking about doing a multi day trip after this experience. Thank you so much for the amazing memories. Sorry....I didn't bring a camera so I don't have pictures BUT we ordered some from a guy that was on the rocks taking pictures of all the rafters and they were AMAZING!!!

Rafting was the perfect activity to escape the brutal Moab heat. I was thoroughly impressed by Mild to Wild, they day I went rafting they had a lot of last minute additions and they handled the addition smoothly. I was most impressed by their Covid safety measures, and my rafting guide MD. After jumping into the river for a leisurely swim, I struggled getting back into the raft and was feeling embarrassed. MD was so patient with me and helped me feel comfortable getting back in. I look forward to my next Moab trip, and will be rafting with Mild to Wild again!
