Overview

Castle Valley is the poster child for western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a movie, TV show, or commercial. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do!

This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful red-rock canyon. As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall.

You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect plenty of fascinating interpretations and fun stories from your river guide on this mild trip!

We absolutely loved our trip. The scenery was fantastic and the weather was amazing. The day we went our guide was absolutely incredible and knowledgeable in the river and surroundings. We would absolutely recommended this to family and friends, and we would love to attend a full day trip or multi day trip if we are ever back in the area.

Half day rafting trip was perfect for the family. Mostly mild with just enough wild to make it interesting. Sean was a great guide who kept things entertaining while at the same time ensuring everyone’s safety. Jumping into the brown Colorado River felt a bit sketchy but ended being pretty refreshing.
