Overall, very nice people & a very nice guide. The trip was sold to us as a 1 and 2 rated rapids rafting trip down the Colorado river. It turned out to be a 0 rated rapids and mostly a very slow drift down the river. Nice scenery though - although probably better seen from a car with AC that day. They also advertised water & snacks. Well, not so much. Water was available - if you had your own cup or water bottle. And, no snacks due to Covid. I guess that they haven't heard of sealed packages. So, it was a very hot day with no water and a lot of waiting around for sign up; buses; loading rafts, etc etc. Not ideal in 106 degree heat in the sun. I'd wait until next Spring before considering this trip again.

We are sorry you are so disappointed in the trip. That is not what we want at all. The Colorado River, Castle Valley and Fisher Towers secion is very mild, and the guide books categorize this section as Class I "moving flat water" and Class II "Splashes" which are just little splashes comign over the front of the boat. Sitting further back in the boat will keep you completely dry with July water levels. On this trip we do not advertise water or snacks. We do however recommmend you bring water. We also bring water to refill your bottles. The water is highter in the spring - which brings out more splashes...but still, this is considered a very mild to trip. For more action, consider Cataract Canyon with its Class IV and in the spring Class V rapids. Take care.

We had a fantastic kayaking trip with our awesome guide MD! She was great with our kids, and expertly handled an unexpected storm. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time! Thanks MD! Christophe & Jennifer
