Moab Rafting Morning Half-Day Trip

Overview
Castle Valley is the poster child for Western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a John Wayne movie, TV show, or a commercial or two. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do!

This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful valley lined with monuments. Along the way are some of Utah’s most impressive geologic features like Fisher Towers, Castleton Tower, the Priest and Nuns, and more.

As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall. You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect plenty of fascinating interpretations and fun stories from your river guide on this mild trip!

Our guide, Ben, made this experience so much fun. He was excellent with the kiddos, and full of fun local facts along the way. Beautiful day to start the rafting season in Moab!

We had a wonderful rafting trip. The guides were very thorough to explain safety procedures. There were some very mild rapids, and our guide took us safely through them. Basically we could just relax and enjoy the amazing scenery. Our guide Luis did a wonderful job explaining the surrounding points of interest. He made the trip really fun, and took many photos, and then shared them with me. I highly recommend this trip.

Excellent introductory white water rafting trip. The guides were awesome! Emma was our guide and she was so knowledgeable and fun. Best part was jumping in the water. All this being said, the rapids are very tame — it’s extremely beautiful and scenic but if you’re looking for an adventurous white water rafting experience, this is probably not it. However, it is very chill and low stress which makes it great for people looking for something easy that anyone at any age or ability can participate in.

Thank you for the kind words! Emma's a gem and we're glad you enjoyed the chill vibes. Our Castle Valley trips are very mild and family-friendly, but we do have other daily and multi-day trips that go up to class IV rapids! We'd love to have you join us on our more advanced trips in the early summer (that is typically when the water levels are the highest.) Again, thank you for the review :)
