I just got home from my first trip to Sedona and the highlight of my time there was definitely the jeep tour we took with JC as our tour guide. It was a bumpy ride, but JC took his time and stopped so we could enjoy the scenery along the way and take all the pictures we wanted to. He even took some fantastic pictures for us. Not only was it a beautiful ride to the top, but educational too! We learned about the history and the plants and wildlife that inhabit the area. I also like that we were supporting a local business.

Worth every penny. The scenery is AMAZING! Pictures don’t do it justice. Our guide was Scott. He doesn’t rush the bumps, was very knowledgeable, and a great sense of humor. He takes all your pics for you at the top. Highly recommend. I’m glad we chose Safari over their competitors. I’d suggest booking ahead, especially March - October. We were able to book this tour a day ahead, they added a tour time just for us, it was at 7:00 a.m. I’d strongly suggest going early. We had the scenic overlook to ourselves for the first 15 minutes and by the time we left, 6 other Jeep’s had arrived and at least a dozen more we met going back down the mountain.

Shout out to the homie Rob, our tour guide! He was the man! I promise it was like going on the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland with all the dad jokes but it was hilarious. Didnt see the back side of water though. Very informational and he pointed out all the rocks and areas that we could see. Talked a lot about the plants, bushes, animals, etc so it was very educational as well. If youre looking to find a vortex and learn all about it, Rob is your guy. He breaks it down for everyone to understand. He is the real deal. Stupid me was thinking we would go on a 3 hour jeep cruise around all the popular spots in Sedona like Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, The church, on a paved road etc....WRONG! This MF'er was doing some legit off roading. If you dont know the people you are riding with, you will soon after you start. Youre flying all over the seats, touching each other, smacking together. If you dont know someone there is no better way than grabbing a grown mans thigh so you dont fly out of your seat. Its rough, but very fun. You get out and stop at a few places for pictures, learning and finding that infamous vortex. We hit it right at sunset and it was pretty amazing. As I mentioned this isnt a regular tour where you can stop for a bathroom break so be prepared. Overall such a fun and memorable experience and would highly recommend. Thanks again to the staff.
