Your tour begins when you meet your guide in Sedona and strap yourself into a trusty Jeep for a wild desert adventure. When everyone is settled, ascend a 100-year-old wagon trail to the edge of the Colorado Plateau, and cruise along Bear Wallow Canyon, taking in mesmerizing views of red rock cliffs juxtaposed with winding highways.

As you climb 2,000 feet (607 meters) in elevation toward the peak of Mogollon Rim, you'll see three contrasting ecological zones that your guide will explain in captivating detail. Marvel at the natural diversity that makes Arizona such a special part of the country, including natural landmarks like iconic Snoopy Rock, Merry-Go-Round Rock, Munds Mountain Wilderness and Mitten Ridge Wilson Mountain.

We really enjoyed our Arizona Safari Jeep Tour with John! He knew all the best stops on the tour for pictures and was very knowledgeable about the hiking trails in Sedona. It was a moderately bumpy ride and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our tour with Devin. He was friendly with all the customers, seeking to determine what we were most interested in. He has a great sense of humor, getting us all involved. He went through a brief history of how Sedona was settled, talked about the early settlers and even how the mail was collected from Flagstaff. Devin also described the Disney influence on the area. Then he went through some stories about the Vortexes of Sedona, local wildlife, different types of poisonous snakes in the area, as well as a variety of cacti and how they are used today in cooking and distilling. Devin took time to take pictures of each couple with our own cameras with gorgeous views in the background. We particularly liked how some of the red rock formations got their names, such as “the Bat Signal”, when Batman’s help is needed and , of course, “Snoopy”. This was our third keep tour with the knowledgeable and friendly people at Safari Jeep Tours who are the absolutely best keep tour company in Sedona. Thanks to everyone at Safari Jeep Tours. We will be on you “Outlaw trail” tour next visit. We have already previously taken the Diamondback Gulch Tour and the Vortex Experiences Tour. Both were great and we highly recommend both. Cowboy Bob was an excellent tour guide! He provided interesting insights into the history of Sedona. His knowledge of the different plant life and its uses was great. He was very accommodating to our group. Great tour, highly recommend!
