Your tour begins when you meet your guide in Sedona and strap yourself into a trusty Jeep for a wild desert adventure. When everyone is settled, ascend a 100-year-old wagon trail to the edge of the Colorado Plateau, and cruise along Bear Wallow Canyon, taking in mesmerizing views of red rock cliffs juxtaposed with winding highways.

Mogollon Rim

As you climb 2,000 feet (607 meters) in elevation toward the peak of Mogollon Rim, you'll see three contrasting ecological zones that your guide will explain in captivating detail. Marvel at the natural diversity that makes Arizona such a special part of the country, including natural landmarks like iconic Snoopy Rock, Merry-Go-Round Rock, Munds Mountain Wilderness and Mitten Ridge Wilson Mountain.

Conquer the crest of the rim at 7,000 feet (2,134 meters), where panoramic views of Sedona await. Capture gorgeous photos with your friends and family from Schnebly Hill Vista, and then wind through the backcountry of the third canyon, feeling like a cowboy in an old western film. This was worth every cent spent on it!! The views, the fun, and the experience were absolutely wonderful! Doc, our driver, was phenomenal and gave us so many interesting facts and history of the area!! Loved the survival and Native tidbits as well as his great attitude and humor! He even gave us some recommendations on good food in the area and he knows his stuff!!! (THANK YOU, DOC!! ~Tortas de Fuego~ was incredible 👌) If you’re not up for a SUPER bumpy ride, it’s not for you, but my husband and I loved every second and got more than our money’s worth out of it. We are already planning another trip to Sedona and are trying to decide which Arizona Safari Jeep tour we should try next! (And we’re telling everyone we know to use them!) we really hope Doc is our driver again, too!! Love this locally owned business and looking forward to supporting it in the future! You guys rock!! (Pun intended) 😆

WOW! WOW! WOW! What a great experience! The "jeeps" are actually converted trucks with SUPER SUSPENSION! Although the road is bumpy, it was so much better then a regular jeep! Our guide, Joe, really knew his flora and fauna and was funny and personable! I learned much about the history of Sedona and the surrounding area. I will definitely be back and go on another tour with AZ Safari!!

Wyatt was such a great tour guide. This was my personal second time going but it was my family's first time and we all had a fantastic time. Wyatt is so knowledgeable about all of the Sedona nature and really makes the trip both fun and educational! Would love to go again!!! Love this jeep tour service
